MDG for EIP

The Add-in is designed to extend the capability of Enterprise Architect to allow creation of EIP models. EIP has been introduced by Gregor Hohpe and Bobby Woolf in book Enterprise Integration Patterns. Full details of EIP can be obtained from the website at http://www.enterpriseintegrationpatterns.com.

Example of using MDG for EIP

The diagram presented below is an example of using MDG Technology for EIP.

An illustration showing an approach to integration with various Tax authorities. Requests to process applications would be sent to a queue. The processing of a request in the queue would be as follows:

  • The type of request (type of application, country) will specify how the application will be processed
  • Corresponding transformation of application in the required form is executed
  • All relevant documents will be retrieved, such as:
    • POA to access the electronic portal of the tax authority
    • POA for each individual country of the claim
    • License for all the vehicles they used for transport
    • Other
  • Applications will be sent automatically to the interface provided by corresponding Tax authority.
